Our Venue
How do we hold our date?
A signed venue contract & a non-refundable reservation fee holds the date, first come first serve. The fee comes off your package: $500 for weddings & receptions, $250 for a day rate, $100 for a private event. We also need proof of your event insurance within 30 days of booking - don't worry, we have details on that & can point you in the right direction to obtain it.
What time does the night end?
Music will be turned down by 10 p.m., off at 11 p.m. & all should head home by midnight. Vehicles overnight are not permitted.
Can we serve alcohol?
Alcohol is permitted with the enforcement of abiding by Florida Law. Langan Acres is not responsible for consumption or actions caused by consumption of alcoholic beverages. Clients of Langan Acres are fully responsible for alcohol provided to them & their guests. We reserve the right to ask any client or guest to leave at any point in time if they are unruly, disrespectful, uncooperative or aggressive. Should intoxication prevent them from driving, it is our clients responsibility to make arrangements for someone non-intoxicated to drive them. Drugs & firearms are strictly prohibited from the property. Additional rules & regulations for use of property are in the venue contract. Langan Acres & Langan Acres Mobile Bar does not provide, sell or serve alcoholic beverages. Neither are responsible for consumption. All guests drinking alcoholic beverages must be 21+ years of age.
Can we bring our own caterer?
Outside food & catering is permitted. Langan Acres does not provide catering ourselves or have a commercial kitchen on-site. We DO have amazing vendors we recommend through our preferred vendors list, which you'll receive upon booking with us. However, you are not required to use them. You may hire vendors that are not on our list or make arrangements for food that suits the needs of your event. All food & beverage is subject to approval from Langan Acres.
Do we have to use your vendors?
No. But if you need a vendor & don't have someone in mind - we recommend you use our preferred vendor list as a starting point. They are pre-approved to be here & we can vouch for their awesomeness! All vendors must be approved by Langan Acres. Langan Acres reserves the right to deny any vendor or provider of goods or services at any time. Clients are responsible for sharing Langan Acres rules & policies with those providing goods & services.
What is included with every rental?
Tables, chairs, restrooms, trash cans, logistics professionals, firepit wood & management, heater/fans as needed, ice to fill coolers, golf cart concierge…and the list goes on. It's impossible to list all the perks of our venue, we suggest you book a tour so we can show you in person!
Do you provide a ceremony coordinator & sound?
Our Live Oak Wedding Package offers a day of coordinator, who is typically our in-house expert & owner of Langan Acres, Betsy Langan. Otherwise, you are responsible to bring your own day of coordinator, officiant, ceremony music & sound system.
What happens if we change or cancel the date?
Tell us in writing as soon as you know. If the date needs to change, you can request a change of dates within one calendar year of the original event day & an addendum signed agreeing to the new date; along with a new certificate of insurance for the new date. If it is canceled, all payments made to Langan Acres are non-refundable.
Do you allow candles, pets or smoking?
No open flame candles anywhere on-site, flameless candles only please. No pets or outside animals are allowed on the property. Professional animals through vendors with their own liability insurance may be discussed for possible approval, prior to the event. Service animals who are providing a service are allowed on the property; we request notification of this animal & the service it will be providing prior to arrival. Smoking is only permitted by firepit & in designated areas. No vaping in the bridal suite.
“Reese”, Langan Acres Mobile Bar
Do you provide bartenders or alcohol?
No. Bartending services & alcohol are not provided by Langan Acres Mobile Bar. You arrange those, and we bring the bar.
What kind of bar can “Reese” be?
Any kind. Adult beverage bar, soda bar, coffee bar, hot cocoa, snack bar. She started life as a horse trailer & now turns up at weddings, birthdays, holiday parties, baby & bridal showers, client appreciation days & corporate events.
How far does “Reese” travel?
Free delivery within 30 miles of Langan Acres in Williston. Past 30 miles a delivery fee applies.
How do I reserve her?
A signed rental contract & a $250 reservation fee hold your date. The balance is due 30 days before your rental date. The reservation fee is non-refundable, tax is not included in the pricing, and prices are subject to change.
